Holly Bond

Holly Bond knows personally the struggle parents face trying to get their kids more physically active and away from video games: she became very frustrated and her struggle with her own son resulted in the creation of the first interactive fitness facility designed for youth!

Back in 2003, Holly noticed that her son had been gaining weight. He ate well, but could spend eight hours at a time playing Xbox. He had ballooned to 193 pounds, too much for his 5-foot-8 frame. Holly read statistics and realized that many kids all over the world had the same issue: they played video games too much and exercised too little. So, she created exercise programs for kids, and combined interactive video games with exercise to make fitness fun for kids and opened Bulldog Interactive Fitness for Youth, the first fitness facility designed for youth using video games to get them fit. Locations opened all across Canada and in March 2008, Holly sold the company.

Holly has been featured on CTV National News, CBC Venture, Chatelaine, Canadian Business, Today’s Parent and is heralded as the expert on Youth Fitness and Inactivity.
